Afghan Kitchen is the manifestation of a young boy’s dream. He roamed the streets of Kabul in his sandals and saw how hard his family worked to sustain themselves. In the times of war, they moved to different neighbouring countries until they finally came to Canada.

Every corner of Afghan Kitchen is thoughtfully curated. Every dish uses mum’s recipe. Afghan Kitchen is the taste of home.

Any item that you see that is breaded and fried is made with an amazing product made by The Good Flour Co. which is made primarily of brown rice, millet and tapioca starch.

Nestled in the “valley of a 1000 peaks, our little cafe is located in the former high school, with co-working meeting space, local vendors market and a dance studio and yoga studio.

Gluten-free items include burgers such as the Fraser Valley Chicken Sandwich, Butcher Shop Burger, Tuna Steak Burger, Lobster Grilled Cheese, Veggie Burger and more. Sub in gluten-free pasta for any of their pasta dishes including the Seafood Penné, Latin Chicken Penné, Lobster Mac and Cheese, Raw Spaghetti & Greens and more.
